The Menga Dolmen, national monument, was discovered
in 1.842 and because of its extent, (21mts.long and 5 mts wide), the size
of its rock blocks and its good conditions could be consider one of the
most grand in the world. 
It
is an impressive dolmen gallery, covered with rock mounds and earth dated
some 2500 years BC.
The Viera Dolmen, located near the previous one, is a more careful construction in the fitting of the monoliths. It is dated 2000 years BC.
The Romeral Dolmen, is the most evolved of the
whole group, with its long gallery and its two circular rooms of different
sizes, covered with a false dome. It is dated 1800 years BC.
