BENAHAVIS LIFESTYLE

Benahavis is a happy and charming village distinguished by its whitewashed houses, the brightness of the sun and its marvellous countryside. Visit the "Fuente del Moro" - Moorish Fountain - and the Remains of the Daidín, wade through the crystal waters of the Charco de los Novios, or de la Mozas, and enjoy a beautiful view from the Castillo de Montemayor ruins.

But undoubtedly the most important aspect of Benahavis is its cuisine; the village is known as the "dining room" of the Costa del Sol due to its large number of restaurants.

Benahavis is a mountain paradise; lying between the Sierra of Palmerita and Sierra bermeja and crossed by three rivers. There is a profusion of pines, chestnuts and corn oaks, surrounded by the typical Mediteranean vegetation.
