Surrounded by mountains except by the south side which border the sea, we find Malaga, the "Chocolate Box",
the city of the eternal spring, an average of 22 degrees centigrade, and with a very few raining days a year; the Capital City of the Costa del Sol.
At the hillside of Gibralfaro Mountain, where the National Inn (Parador Gibralfaro) and the "Alcazaba Fortress" are located, and just by the Malaga Port, the Park, a real botanical garden constructed during the XIX century upon lands recovered from the sea, and where the most different and exotic trees were planted being today the best collection of uncommon trees in Spain.

West of the Guadalmedina river, which divide the city into two unequal portions, the popular quarters of Trinidad, Huelin and El Perchel, all the good malageņan flamenco singers were born there. On the East side, on the way to Almeria, El Limonar, Miramar, Pedregalejo and the fishermen quarter of El Palo, where you can enjoy the best fish and shellfish of Malaga.
