Considered the most important work of Guerrero Strachan, follower of the 19th. century eclecticism, used the Neogothic, the Neoarabic, the regionalism and even the modern style in which he was a real master.

The Sacred Heart Church, built between 1907 and 1920, is considered one of its most famous Neogothic works. Belonging to the "Jesus Company" it has, as usual in that order, an attached residential building.
