Founded in 1491, it is located in Granada St.( formerly Main or Royal St.), and next to the Moreria. (the Moorish quarters)

Being in 1493 almost finished the construction of the church, it was considered the necessity of enlarged it extending the church body. So since its opening it was a three bodies church. The tower is a very interesting sample of the "mudejar" style (Moorish style), a bit separated from the church main structure, following the typical dispositions of the mosques towers.

In its first stages, the construction of this parish was directed by Unzunrrúnzaga, who followed the ornamental style of the Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Victory.
The Chapel of "El Pilar" was decorated in 1705.
