The remains of the Arab Castle (10th. century), the Church of the Incarnation (Marbella's main church, 17th. century), the Roman villa in Rio Verde (1st. century A.D.), the Roman baths in Gudalmina (3rd. century AD)and the remains of the Paleochristian Basilica "Vega del Mar" in San Pedro beach, built during the fourth century A.D.). Do not miss the opportunity of visiting the Spanish Contemporary Etching Museum, located in the ancient Hospital Bazan - a building constructed in the 16th. century - The Bonsai Museum, which housed more than 300 different kinds of trees, and The Cortijo Miraflores, with its fantastic gardens.
