Feast in San Roque are governed by the religious festivities. In August, around the 15th. we celebrate the feast of the Virgin Mary, traditionally based on the ancient cattle fair.
The shrove-tide (induce by the famous Cadiz's Carnivals) and the Holy Week, with the procession of the images brought from Gibraltar. These are some of the peculiar rudiments of this city to be considered.
There are also feasts in all the boroughs, in the majority of them fishermen feasts, due to its angle tradition, that is the case of Guadarranque, La Colonia, Puente Mayorga and Torreguadiaro where the feast of the Virgin of the Carmel is glorify.
