Opened in 1964, Sotogrande is still often voted amongst the top ten courses in Europe.

Known as Sotogrande "Old" to differentiate it from its younger neighbour, Valderrama, the Robert Trent Jones course is a private club but green fee paying visitors are welcome although you are advised to book, in advance.

Sotogrande boasts well established vegetation with pine, cork oaks, eucalyptus and palm trees. Water hazards play an important role here.

With the technical advise of its professionals T. Gonzalez and M. Ocaña, the manegement of D. Eugenio Reviriego, all of them under the chairmanship of D. Walter Rodriguez, Sotogrande is one the best offer in the zone, complemented with its magnific yacht harbour together with its polo installations.

Carts, clubs and buggies are available to hire, and you can enjoy its splendid bar and restaurant.
